Position Overview:

As a Graphic Designer, you will produce innovative designs with a strong focus on meeting the client’s brief alongside providing outstanding visuals and accurate production files.

This role is based in our London office for 3 days a week and 2 days working from home.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Interpreting client or internal briefs from a creative brief
  • Producing initial design concepts to communicate your ideas
  • Attending and having input into creative meetings
  • Producing high-quality creative designs
  • Producing accurate visuals and presentations to be sent to the client
  • Producing accurate print-ready artwork for Identity’s in-house production team and external Suppliers
  • Work closely with Design Team asking for input on designs and adapting accordingly
  • Work closely with the Creative Director and Head of Creative Services to ensure that projects are on-track, on budget and in-line with their expectations
  • Sharing skills and knowledge with the wider team, particularly with more junior members of company
  • Peer reviewing design output from junior members of the team and providing feedback
  • Delivering a quality product and service whilst maintaining clear, open communication with the client and wider team
  • Liaise with client and/or project managers to ensure all briefs are clear and accurate
  • Provide updates of design errors to Studio Manager in order to provide accurate reporting and suggest improvements
  • Produce creative designs in conjunction with the Creative Director that aim to exceed client’s expectations
  • Keep up to date with current design trends and learn new design methods
  • Follow the design peer review process
  • Follow tasks list set in conjunction with the Creative Services Coordinator
  • Completing tasks within an agreed budget
  • Communicating workload and any slippage to Creative Services Coordinator
  • Provide regular updates to other managers, project managers and account managers when required
  • Ensuring design time does not exceed project allocation with the goal of achieving 80% chargeable hours
  • Providing up-to-date advice/knowledge of design techniques to sales and production teams
  • Provide error-free, print ready artwork and graphic layouts with notes to production/suppliers


Skills and Experience:


  • Experienced in using Adobe Creative Suite (particularly InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator)
  • Experienced in producing web-based graphics
  • Commercial awareness
  • Ability to present information clearly and concisely
  • Good level of computer literacy, particularly with regard to databases, Microsoft applications
  • Proven organisational skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a customer focused manner
  • Can demonstrate the ability to carry out tasks within set timeframes
  • Self-prioritise workload according to the business needs
  • Excellent time management skills


  • Experience in creating Wordpress/CMS based web sites
  • Illustrative skills
  • Experience of producing animations for web use
